Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
1 cube margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. Raspberry preserves
1 1/2 cups finely chopped nuts
2 egg whites, beaten

Instructions:

Cream margarine and sugar together. Add egg yolks and beat until fluffy. Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Mix well. In separate bowl beat egg whites until peaks form sparkling consistency. Pat into 9x12" greased pan. Spread with preserves; sprinkle with half the nuts; spread with egg whites - top with remaining nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cut when cool.
