Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients: 3 eggs 3/4 cup sugar 1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 1/2 cup shortening 1 1/2 tbsp. water 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 3 3/4 cup flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. salt 12 oz. pkg. Chocolate chips 1 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) Instructions: Combine first 6 ingredients in large mixer bowl; mix well. Add flour, baking soda and salt gradually, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by tsp. onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until light brown. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely. |
