Ingredients: Cream together in food processor: 1 ¼ cups flour 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 lb butter Add and process again: 1 tsp vanilla (real) 1 egg yolk Apricot Glaze: 1 cup apricots (dried & chopped) 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon lemon juice Instructions: Preheat oven to 350. Combine ingredients until a smooth dough is formed. Press into tart pan, flute the edges. Place decoratively any fresh, fruit on top and bake. Bake for 30 minutes. When cool, put apricot glaze on top. For apricot glaze, boil down to syrup and spoon over tart. I use different fruits depending on the fresh fruit in season, often slices apples with blueberries or raspberries are used decoratively. |
