Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 4 dozen 

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups flour
1 Tbsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tsps vanilla
1 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups corn flakes
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 12 ounce package chocolate chips

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together. Cream butter, margarine, and sugars well. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture alternately with oil until all is thoroughly mixed. Stir in corn flakes, oatmeal, and chocolate chips. Chill dough approximately one hour before baking. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls (or small ice cream scoop) onto ungreased cookie sheet 3 inches apart or by teaspoonfuls if smaller cookies are desired. Bake for about 13-14 minutes (for large cookies) until golden brown. Cool on racks.
