Ingredients:
1 stick butter softened
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda

Frosting:
1 stick butter softened
8 ounces cream cheese softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
Here's a wonderful way to use ripe bananas which provide moistness and flavor. Once bananas turn black, remove the skin and freeze the bananas in a freezer bag until ready to use. Thaw before using.

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine flour, and baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and mix well. Place in a greased 15 x 10 inch pan and bake for 25 minutes until done. Cool then frost.

Frosting:
Cream butter and cream cheese in a mixer. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over bars.
