Ingredients: 1 cup flour 1/4 cup sugar 3/4 tsp salt 1 stick butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup maple syrup 1 egg 2 tbs melted butter 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup chopped walnuts Instructions: Combine flour, sugar and 1/8 tsp salt. Cut 1 stick butter into mixture until crumbly. Press into bottom of and up sides of 9" square pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Combine brown sugar, syrup, egg, melted butter, vanilla, and remaining salt. Stir until lumps are gone. Pour into pan, sprinkle with nuts, cove with foil, bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
