Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Whether you're hosting a formal get-together or need a quick brunch idea, this book will spark your imagination and your appetite.

Ingredients:
In large bowl, cream until well blended:
1/2 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Add:
3/4 cup all purpose flour

Stir in:
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup pecans

Instructions:
Spread in 8x8x2 inch greased pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with an additional 1 cup chocolate chips. Wait 5 minutes or until they soften. Spread evenly over top. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup nuts.

Cool completely. Cut into 2x2 inch squares and serve.
