Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 4 servings 

Ingredients:
1 cup pancake mix
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 cup milk
1 cup finely chopped apples (unpeeled is ok)
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1 egg
1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Honey Butter:
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup butter or margarine

Instructions:
For pancakes, combine mix, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add milk, apples, nuts, egg and oil; stir until batter is fairly smooth. Pour scant 1/4 cup batter onto hot (400 degrees F) lightly greased griddle. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked.

For honey butter, combine honey and butter in small saucepan; heat until well blended and warm. For each serving, top 3 pancakes with about 1/4 cup warm honey butter.
