 Meat Roll Recipe

Yield: 4 servings 

Ingredients:
Meat Roll

2 lbs. Sausage or ham
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup sliced mushroom.

6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
dash pepper and basil.

1 loaf bread dough


Instructions:
Meat Roll

Fry 2 lbs. Sausage or ham with 1/2 cup chopped onion and 1/2 cup sliced mushroom.

Mix 6 eggs and 1/2 cup milk with dash pepper and basil. Add to meat and cook till egg is done. Drain in a seive and let cool.

Roll out 1 loaf bread dough to 1/2" thick and place on greased cookie sheet. Put egg and meat mixture down the center. Make cuts in sides of dough 1" apart. Braid together on the top. Can brush with butter or egg. Let raise 1/2 hour and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until bread is brown on bottom.
