Ingredients: 6 eggs
2 Tbs Vermont maple syrup
2 Tbs half and half
½ cup amaretto
1 loaf French bread, sliced
1/3 cup chopped almonds (optional)
Instructions: Combine eggs, syrup, half an half, and amaretto. Dip bread into batter to coat evenly on both sides. Cook on hot griddle until golden on both sides. To serve, sprinkle with powdered sugar and chopped almonds.
