Ingredients: 6-7 large apples
water
2 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/8 cups flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tbsp butter
Instructions: Peel and slice apples and put them in a large bowl of water with lemon juice to keep them from browning. Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cut in butter with a knife until mixture is crumbly. Lay apples in a greased 9x13" baking pan. Sprinkle topping over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
