Bed and Breakfast Inns
with Jacuzzi/Hot Tub
Enjoy luxuriating in a warm bubbly Jacuzzi® or soaking your tired feet in hot tub after a long day's travel? Search Lanierbb.com to quickly find the perfect bed and breakfast offering a Jacuzzi® and/or hot tub on the premises. A private spa tub for two makes any bed and breakfast stay a romantic fantasy come true!
Hydrotherapy, the healing use of water, was first brought into the home in the 1960s by Roy Jacuzzi, the first person to add a jet of massaging air to a standard bathtub. Today, the Jacuzzi® brand name is often used to refer to any hot tub or spa. A hot tub is a large tub or small pool of heated water and used for soaking, relaxation, massage, or hydrotherapy, which may or may not have water jets. There are two styles: wooden-staved soaking tubs and fiberglass or plastic tubs (usually referred to as spas).
Hot tubs are usually heated using an electric or natural gas heater, though there are also wood-fired and solar-powered systems. Hot tubs are also found at natural hot springs; geothermally heated water may be dangerously hot and must be combined with cool water for safe soaking.
Hot tubs are usually located outdoors, often sheltered from the elements and from prying eyes. When making reservations at a bed and breakfast with a hot tub, ask any special policies; some hot tubs are available for private use, others are for the use of all the guests at the inn.
