The cooking classes are held in Mary’s large, professional kitchen and include printed copies of the recipes. Participants with a group of 6 – 8 people may request a customized class and select from 3 different formats - a complete gourmet dinner menu for the class to prepare and enjoy; a special subject class that includes samples of all the dishes prepared; or a demonstration class followed by a luncheon. Gourmet dinner menu hands-on classes (starting at $65.00 per person (depending on the menu), plus cost of the room selected); suggestions include: Cuisine of Spain Regional Italian (several to choose from) Paris Bistro Mediterranean Feast Elegant Dinner Party Special subject hands-on classes (starting at $40.00 per person depending on the subject) plus the cost of the room selected); suggested topics include: Pasta Magic How to Select and Cook Fresh Fish Soufflés and Brulees Bread making (beginner and advanced classes offered) Pastry (beginner and advance classes offered) One-hour demonstration classes followed by a luncheon, (with prices starting at $30.00 per person depending on the menu), plus the cost of the room selected) with many subjects and menus; lunch suggestions include Tuscan Pasta & Bean Soup and Crostini; Grilled Oregano Shrimp with Orzo Salad; Mediterranean Salad with Mini Lamb Rib Chops – and generally an appropriate dessert is included. |
